DRAUSSEN TANZEN !!!
outdoor dance workshop for all those who can sit, stand & walk

by Birgit Wieger & Daniela Kern

A weekend of dancing, relaxing and enjoying nature in Rosenwinkel in the Prignitz.

In the OUTDOOR DANCE WORKSHOP garden chairs, courtyard, meadow and trees become our play partners and initiator for our movements. In a mix of body awareness exercises and site specific dance & movement improvisations, we will create our own movement elements and dance stories.

There will also be plenty of time to explore the surroundings or just lie in the sun and wiggle your toes.

The workshop will take place outdoors, in line with current Covid-19 measures .To participate a current negative corona test or a certificate about complete vaccination or recovered-certificate is required.

The farm AUSBAU 5 is located in the middle of nature and has a common kitchen, outdoor toilet, outdoor shower. It is possible to stay overnight on the farm with your own tent. Further overnight accommodation are available in the surrounding area.

The workshop is part of the OUTDOOR DANCE WORKSHOPS SERIES of ZUKUNFTSWERKSTATT ROSENWINKEL.

WIG WAG THE BAG

This is the second workshop edition about dance & objects. After "Fluffing up the nothing" this time we gonna deal with the performative qualitites of bags.

FLUFFING UP THE NOTHING

In this workshop series for dance & objects we will examine the performative qualities of "pillows". We explore the physical properties, their inherent movements and deal with how our objects can be transformed.

How do pillows become interactive stage sets and performance installations? How does the material change our movement possibilities? How is movement reduced ? What new qualities of movement do they produce?

In addition, we explore how our material becomes a stage partner and its use as a multifunctional element, such as a prop, costume ...
